The Wli people originated from the city of Notsie in what is now Bernin. They lived under a tyrant king called King Agorkoli. King Agorkoli was so very wicked that some of his subjects, the EWE escaped from his Kingdom. And it happened that the people of Wli were part of the EWE’s that escaped from kingdom. |
